Dennis Finnegan is a singer, guitarist & Composer.

He has worked with lyricist Johny Blood since the 1990s, and together they have written well over 100 songs. Their songs cover a large variety of styles from blues, folk, & country to Tin Pan Alley, jazz, and rock & roll. They were the songwriters for the eclectic rock band Along Came Jones from 2009-2013 (they were also both members). Following Along Came Jones they wrote and performed avant-garde theater pieces under the name The Book of Jones. Their theater pieces were performed at the San Francisco Fringe Festival in 2018 (where they received the Best of Fringe award), as well several performances at the San Francisco Marsh Theater.

Mr. Finnegan has also composed pieces for solo guitar, chamber and jazz ensembles, and film scores. He lives in Oakland, CA.
